The 2012 Celebration culminates with the Koinonia Family Reunion. Come on home and see the family! If you’ve visited with us, or always wanted to, this is also a weekend for you. Come experience why so many of us consider Koinonia one of the best places to sit back, kick your feet up, and enjoy some good Southern fellowship.

Even if you can’t come for this event, we’d love to have your support in our endeavors.

If you haven’t already, be sure to connect with us on Facebook and join our Koinonia Family group.

Here is what is in store. We’ll have a finalized schedule with exact times as we get closer to the event. See you there!

Friday, October 26

We’ll kick everything off with dinner starting at 5:30 p.m., which will include current community members sharing with us Koinonia Today.
After clean up, we’ll have a talent show full of singing, story telling, memory sharing and much laughter.

Saturday, October 27

We’ll begin the morning with a Continental Breakfast followed by devotions.

The rest of the morning there will be time for farm tours, plant tours and, if you want, even enjoying yourself on a work detail. You’ll remember how much there is to do on the farm or if this is your first visit to Koinonia, you’ll soon learn!

Weather permitting we’ll have lunch on Picnic Hill. Weather not permitting, we’ll have lunch somewhere.
A rousing game of volleyball will follow lunch.

The afternoon can be spent fellowshipping and catching up with one another, visiting the Welcome Center Store, spending time at the museum exhibit or resting. We’ll also conduct more tours.

Dinner will be at 5:30 followed by Cotton Patch Gospel Musical. Phil Kauffman does a one-man show of the musical playing multiple characters and playing multiple instruments. You won’t want to miss this!

Sunday, October 28

There are no Sunday activities or meals planned, but if folks want to gather at the farm, you are welcome.

Sunday at 6:00 is our Gathered Worship service, which includes a potluck meal. Grab a dish and come on over!

Cost is $70 per person, due upon registration, to help cover the cost of meals and activities. An additional $70 donation in honor of our 70th Anniversary is encouraged to support our ongoing projects.

Housing costs are additional. Here is a list of area hotels. Of course, we’d love to have as many of you stay at Koinonia as we can house. We’re taking reservations until we fill up. Visit our Housing Registration page or Contact Us.
